PET/CT SKULL BASE TO MID-THIGH — BAYLOR RADIOLOGY
Indication: biopsy-proven recurrence, left base of tongue; prior chemoradiation 2021.
FINDINGS: FDG-avid mass at the left base of tongue extending to the vallecula, 2.8 cm, SUVmax 11.6. Post-treatment changes of the neck. No FDG-avid cervical adenopathy. No FDG-avid pulmonary nodules or osseous lesions.
IMPRESSION: Locally recurrent left base of tongue carcinoma, rT2 N0. No evidence of distant metastatic disease.C-2
